Minnetonka’s Snuffy’s Adds Breakfast to the Menu
For Minnetonka locals, Snuffy’s Malt Shop is a well-known spot to grab a great burger and a delicious malt. Now, restaurant goers don’t have to wait for lunch to roll around to have some Snuffy’s.
According to Lakeshore Weekly News, Snuffy’s has extended its Saturday and Sunday hours and added a breakfast menu. The menu isn’t super traditional, and mostly features egg sandwiches, but one specialty is the made-from-scratch scotch eggs that are topped with hollandaise and accompanied by sweet, cinnamon and sugar fry bread, the paper reported.
“We wanted to make sure that breakfast would still embody the Snuffy’s brand yet make it stand out from all other breakfast choices,” Dana Tripp, Snuffy’s brand manager, told Lakeshore Weekly. “We are not a knife-and-fork place to begin with and wanted breakfast to follow suit. If customers want a quick, filling, delicious, unique breakfast then Snuffy’s will hit the spot.”
Snuffy’s owner Micheal R. Mueller has some experience in the breakfast department. He’s also the owner of the popular Hoagie’s restaurant in Hopkins, as well as Lyn-Lake Cafe in Uptown Minneapolis and the Golden Nugget in Glen Lake, the paper said.
Breakfast is now served from 8-11 a.m. on Saturday and Sundays. The Minnetonka Snuffy’s is located at 17519 Minnetonka Blvd.
