Minnetonka Music Teacher Connects Two Communities With Benefit Concert
Minnetonka music teacher Seth Boyd is organizing a benefit for the Northside Achievement Zone this Monday, February 24th! There will be a concert to raise money for the organization to help prepare North Minneapolis students for high school graduation, as well as getting them ready for college. Boyd, along with friends and family are performing for a good cause.
The Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ) has a mission to partner with families in “a geographic zone of North Minneapolis to prepare children to graduate from high school ready to college”. Their purpose is to end multigenerational poverty by using education as positive leverage to achieve their goals! Families and children move through a “cradle-to-career” pipeline that provides comprehensive support.
Attend the benefit concert at 6 p.m. this Monday at St Therese Church of Deephaven (18323 Minnetonka Blvd) to show your support for local education. In order for Minnetonka teacher Boyd to reach out to these kids, he needs others to also help. All the proceeds will be going towards the nonprofit, and you can enjoy a wonderful, talented performance! Connecting two very different communities is what we need to achieve continued success.
