The owners of Littleton’s newest little brewery are committed to keeping it all local—hence it’s name, Locavore Brew Works.
According to a Denver Westword Blog, owners Andy Nelson and Jason Reinhardt are buying all their brews’ ingredients from shops in and near town.
“We use the concentric ring model and only go outside of that if certain goods or services aren’t available,” Nelson reportedly said, adding that they want to support local businesses as much as they can.
The seven-barrel brewhouse is about 4,000 square feet, with a taproom accounting for about 1,400 of that. According to the blog, there are a variety of different brews on tap, including Lil’ Dirty Blonde, Replacement Killer Pumpkin Ale and more.
Locavore is located at 5950 S Platte Canyon Rd. in Littleton. For more information, go to locavorebeerworks.com.
