Littleton’s TLC Meals on Wheels Celebrates 50 Years of Service

Town of Littleton Cares (TLC) Meals on Wheels just celebrated a major milestone: 50 years of service.

According to the Littleton Independent, the mayor helped celebrate the 50 year anniversary by joining a delivery team on the road on St. Patrick’s Day.

TLC, a nonprofit, makes sure seniors and those with disabilities get at least one hot meal a day. And it all started back in 1965 in the home of Virginia Baker. Today, TLC serves about 360 meals a day to people spread over 23 routes in Arapahoe County and southern Jefferson County, the newspaper said.
