Students at the Littleton Academy made their underwater robots and succeeded! Marisa Hardy, Laura Schoenhals and Ananya Tandri are heading to the national competition at the University of Southern Mississippi to challenge other robotic amateurs.
They did so well with their design that they beat all other students with flying colors in the Colorado State SeaPerch Competition. Each year, students from around the state gather in Colorado Springs to see who measures up to the obstacles. Challenges include a well thought out course for the robots to finish, in addition to their overall design.
These Littleton students are excited to travel south to nationals with their impressive robots! The event is held on May 17th, along with a number of other academies throughout the U.S. With the education from top-rated schools, these little geniuses are going to make Littleton proud.
