Littleton Plans Opening New Preschool this Fall for Fast Growing Community

A new preschool is opening in Littleton this coming fall of 2014! It will be on the east side of the district, located on The Village, called the Center for Early Childhood Education. The plan is to utilize the Ames facility, located at 7300 S. Clermont Drive, since it was closed as a previous elementary school in 2009.

The building for the new preschool is also home to a variety of other educational programs such as: a learning resources center, fashion design, health technology classes, and a teacher cadet program, as well as the nonprofit TLC Meals on Wheels! Littleton is running out of room for the growing number of preschoolers in the community, which is why they chose to expand at The Village.

Making it free for families that can’t afford tuition costs, they also have free testing for developmental disabilities through the Child Find program and provides a Colorado Preschool Program to children who show signs of needing the extra help. Littleton locals are excited to have this addition to the local education systems, hoping that there will be less crowding and more focus on the kids.
