Recognizing the need for resources for the city’s Baby Boomers, Littleton opened the Aging Well Resource Center on Oct. 20.
According to a city press release, Baby Boomers (those whom were born between 1946 and 1964) are expected to make up the biggest segment of our nation’s population in the next two decades. With this information, the city joined forces with various community partners to open the resource center.
Among the services the center provides are medical services, medical insurance, transportation, food and nutrition, in-home care services and more.
The center is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Citizens can stop by anytime, or call 303-795-3980 to make an appointment.
The center is located in Bemis Public Library, 6014 S. Datura St. in Littleton. For more information, click here.
