Littleton Meets New K-9 Pup at National Night Out

Littleton celebrated National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime”, gatherings last week, with over 40 locations throughout the community. One of the most enjoyable activities was meeting the new K-9 puppy. The young German Shepherd got plenty of attention from residents and kids as the new addition made its way around town.

Koda is still a young pup at only 2-years-old, the German shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix was romping around the neighborhood with a lot of energy. Officer John Jones is training this little guy to be his new partner in crime around the Denver area, including Littleton.

So, in addition to all the ice cream, grill outs, and outdoor games, the town got to meet Koda and some other officers. The Littleton Police Citizens Academy is now accepting applications for the fall session where Littleton citizens are invited to learn more about police policy and procedure, during the 11-week course, according to the Littleton Independent.
