Jocelyn Mills, a former colleague of City Manager Michael Penny, has been chosen as the next director of community development for Littleton.
According to the Littleton Independent, Mills worked with Penny at Frisco, where she held a position for 17 years.
“I know firsthand of Jocelyn’s extensive experience with community engagement, infill and redevelopment, and relationship building,” Penny told the newspaper. “She knows the principles, practices and techniques of urban and regional planning, and she will make a great addition to our team.”
Fifty applicants applied for the position following a nationwide search, and Mills was one of three finalists.
