There’s a new chief in town with a new perspective on how to better things at the Littleton Fire Rescue. Christopher Armstrong was recently named the new fire chief, and is determined to take charge of his new role in the community. He was chosen out of 40 other possible candidates throughout the nation.
According to the Denver Post, the Littleton City Manager is thrilled to have Armstrong, “Chris Armstrong is an exciting and talented leader who will bring a fresh vision and perspective to the department,” Michael Penny said in a press release.
Formerly the division chief in Miramar, Florida, Armstrong did a great job shaping the department there. He is replacing former chief John Mullin, who served in Littleton since 2004.
