2013 National Night Out in Littleton
Event: National Night Out in Littleton, Colorado
When: Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
It’s time to start planning your party!
National Night Out is a national program held the first Tuesday in August in which citizens join forces to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention and neighborhood unity. Residents do not need to be involved in any type of Neighborhood Watch to participate in NNO; however, NNO is the perfect night to begin a program on your block.
Residents & business owners of Littleton are encouraged to organize block parties to strengthen neighborhood spirit and develop community partnerships. This is a great opportunity to put together a neighborhood celebration, turn on the front porch lights, gather with neighbors and friends, get to know one another, catch up on things, play some games with the kids, enjoy a few hot-off-the-grill favorites and build a sense of community.
Neighborhood representatives are asked to register their National Night Out event, so representatives from the Littleton Police and Fire Departments, as well as several City officials, can stop by to visit many of the local celebrations that evening.
Balloons can even be to be picked up by representatives from registered groups at the Littleton Police Department between noon and 3pm on the day of the event!!
So make it a memorable night with Neighbors and Friends!
