Lakeville’s Annual FMSC MobilePack Event Feeds Over 75,000 Starving Children

Kids all over the world are starving and Lakeville wants to help! That’s why every year they have their annual Lakeville FMSC MobilePack Event, where volunteers come to help pack over 75,000 meals for children. You can register on May 9th to work the 3 -5 p.m. or 6 -8 p.m. shifts. The more the help the better, don’t hesitate to invite others to join!

Kids are welcome to come with their parents to learn more about what we are doing for other children their age in other countries. The event will help them understand the importance of food, and why we need to be grateful for what we have here. Everyone is asked to meet in the Lakeville South Community Room the day of for an introduction then meal packing!

Locals are asked to register at www.volunteer.fmsc.org. You can also donate money towards the cause, that will go towards more food donations. Let’s work together as a community to ensure no child goes hungry! Mark your calenders for Friday, May 9, and select a shift that works best for you – or do both.
