Lakeville Offers up More Useful Activities during the Fall
Want to learn how to avoid expensive college costs? Gearing up to use your snowmobile again this winter? Want to help keep your city clean by participating in the North Creek Clean Up annual event? There are other things that can be done in these last few months, of somewhat warm weather, to prepare for the cold, and Lakeville knows best.
Attend the seminar on Monday, October 21st at 6:30 a.m., and again on October 23rd, to ensure you or your child will make the most out of their college funds. This learning class is appropriate for people of all ages to attend for free, and is located at Twin Oaks Middle School, (Rm 306), 15860 Fish Point Rd SE, Prior Lake. Also, there will be a snowmobile safety class given on Tuesday, October 22nd for you adventurous snow lovers. This class is important for any Minnesotan planning on taking trips, or just joy rides on their fast snow toy this year! Just go to the McGuire Middle School in downtown Lakeville at 7 p.m., for youth ages only.
Another important event happening this month, is the North Creek Clean Up with Lakeville Friends of the Environment. This annual event is a great way to get out and help the environment, while meeting new people in the community! Starting bright and early at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 26th at Steve Michaud Park is where the action starts.
Get out this fall and make a difference, gain knowledge and meet new people in your city!
