Come Celebrate Memorial Day in Lakeville!

To many Memorial Day is a day that signals the beginning of summer with a three-day weekend to spend camping, on the lake or at home relaxing but lets not forget Memorial Day is also a day of remembering and honoring the men and women who died while serving us in the United States Armed Forces – This is a holiday in which Lakeville takes great pride in!

Everyone is welcomed and invited to join the Lakeville Legion and VFW in honoring our veterans at this Memorial Day program.  A ceremony will be held at Lakeville Veterans Memorial at Aronson Park on Monday, May 27th prior to brief ceremonies including the color guard and Lakeville North High School Band which will be held at each of the following area cemeteries before the stop at Aronson Park:

  • 8:00 a.m.: Orchard Lake (Evergreen Point) Cemetery, County Road 5 & County Road 46
  • 8:25 a.m.: West Christiana Lutheran Cemetery, 245th Street & Pillsbury Avenue
  • 8:50 a.m.: Church of St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery, Elko New Market
  • 9:15 a.m.: St. John Farmington Lutheran Cemetery, Webster
  • 9:35 a.m.: Solor Lutheran Cemetery, Webster
  • 10:00 a.m.: Annunciation Catholic Cemetery, Hazelwood
  • 10:20 a.m.: Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Hazelwood
  • 10:45 a.m.: East Christiana Cemetery, Highview Avenue & 267th Street
  • 11:00 a.m.: Highview Christiana Lutheran Cemetery, 26690 Highview Avenue
  • 11:25 a.m.: Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, west of Cedar Avenue and north of 225th Street
  • 11:45 a.m.: All Saints Catholic Cemetery, south of downtown Lakeville on 210th Street
  • Noon: Lakeville Grove Cemetery, 8505 205th Street West
