Special Olympics Perry County Continues to Raise Money by Bowling

The Special Olympics Perry County bowling team doesn’t mess around when it comes to tournaments. Recently, they had their first annual local competition at the Tell City Bowling Center, in Perry Township, and they took home the gold!

Raising almost $800 to help with their future expenses and local Special Olympic events, the team did great making their strikes, and picking up their spares! The sense of community in this town is obvious when they continue to raise money for activities like these.

Special Olympics Perry County strives to provide the best opportunities for disabled adults in Perry Township, and surrounding communities. This is just one of many future tourneys in order to keep producing the funds to keep them active. Motivation is key when it comes to having a healthy ambitious lifestyle, and this team found their’s in the bowling alley!
