Scottsdale’s HopCat Opens Mid-August with 130 Taps
A new brew house is opening in Indianapolis called HopCat that will feature 130 taps. Opening on August 16, this place will have the most beers available in one place at one time in the whole state. HopCat founder Mark Sellers is a beer fanatic and is excited to open this assured hot spot.
“It gives customers a chance to experience the incredible variety, artistry and creativity within Indiana’s craft brewing community,” Sellers said in the IndyStar article. The massive list of beers will cover an array of local breweries, as well as popular selections and global beers.
This location will be the HopCat’s first out of state opening. All other bars are in Michigan, but Indiana is growing a craft beer scene. HopCat, located at 6280 N. College Ave., has beers from places such as California, Colorado, Germany, Belgium and Denmark.
It is going to be a 9,600-square-foot space surrounded with open windows, so that people walking by can view all the kegs on tap. Designated as a family-friendly environment, the bar/restaurant is going to have great patio seating for those nice summer days. Don’t forget to order their “crack fries”, one of their most popular menu items – worth a try!
