Preschool Students Raise Money for Local Animal Shelter

Local students were determined to raise money for the Perry County Animal Shelter. Fighting hard to win, these young children made sure to get as much as they could through various fundraisers! They called their activities “Change Wars”, where they would challenge each other to collect coins from people, any way they could.

Stepping Stones Preschool is made up of a bunch of active individuals! They raised a whopping $289 for the animal shelter in Perry Township, by making toys and a doghouse for the homeless pets. In return, the kids got to have their very own ice cream party in Ms. Jonie’s class.

After two weeks of hard work, it paid off for the preschool group. The Perry Township shelter was happy to know that these selfless 3 to 4-year-olds were so determined in raising the money! Now – the sheltered animals will have more fun with their new toys!
