Check Out The ‘Coat of Many Colors’ Art Exhibit
Indianapolis Museum of Art, located at 4000 Michigan Road, always has interesting exhibits going on in their space. Right now they are featuring ‘Coat of Many Colors’. There are on-going art galleries, as well as up-coming ones at the museum and can be found at www.imamuseum.org.
According to their website, the ‘Coat of Many Colors’ will illustrate how scientific imaging and dye analysis has narrowed the possible creation date on this object and contributed to our understanding of the influx of modern European synthetic colorants into traditional Central Asian textile arts of the early 20th century.
The exhibit is open to the public and free for everyone. Families are welcome at the museum. Watch videos on how they make the art for ‘Coat of Many Colors’ at: www.imamuseum.org/exhibition/coat-many-colors.
