Review: Baker’s Way Bakery in Greenwood Village
Since 1993, Greenwood Village’s Baker’s Way has been rolling out delish pastries, breads and sandwiches each day.
According to a recent interview with the Denver Post, owner Jeff Utsun said the bakery business has been in his family for years, and after he completed is master’s degree at Colorado State University he noticed a lack of European-style bakeries in the area.
“After finding a good location, and with a good plan to go off of from my family’s bakeries back east, we opened the doors Nov. 20, 1993,” he said in the interview.
Now more than 20 years later, Baker’s Way produces dozens of breads, as well as muffins, pastries, scones, cakes, turnovers, cookies, and hot and cold sandwiches on a daily basis.
“I have always tried to produce a really authentic bread or pastry,” Utsen said. “The recipes were developed over many years of testing and revisions, so that now we have a very high quality product.”
And the business has expanded beyond the bakery shop itself. Baker’s Way also offers wholesale and catering options. You can even order online and pick up your goodies in-store,
According to the review service Yelp.com, customers give Baker’s Way 4 out 5 stars, noting the delicious smell, impressive sandwiches and the free Wi-Fi.
