Monday Movie Madness Begins June 9 at Infinity Park
Looking for something free and fun to do with the family? Monday Movie Madness is back starting June 9th with the popular movie Frozen. Attend the 7th annual movie tradition that has made Greenwood Village locals excited about summer every year. Residents get to vote on and choose the movies that range from classic favorites to new Disney releases.
According to the Villager Newspaper, it has become a tradition for viewers to vote on and choose six movies that has made this event more popular every June. Monday Movie Madness has become extremely recognized by others with more than a 550 percent growth in attendance over the years since it started.
Held at the well known Stadium at Infinity Park, near Greenwood Village, the lineup of free movies begins on every Monday night at 8 p.m. Gates open at 7 p.m. Movie goers can grab their favorite spot in the park and bring chairs and blankets to sit on. Pack a picnic and some popcorn to make it an unforgettable evening with friends or family.
The jumbo screen is going to show Frozen, the recent Disney big-screen favorite for both children and adults, followed by the Lego Movie next week. New to Movie Madness this year is an Independent Filmmaker Short Film Contest with six finalists’ short films shown prior to each movie. According to the Infinity Park website, the film submissions from around the world and are judged by a panel of professional film critics.
