Greenwood Village Day Celebrates the Community’s Residents

Greenwood Village Day is fast approaching and the community is preparing for an awesome event. Located at the Village Greens Park, 9501 E. Union Ave., the event is on July 26 at 2 p.m.

Enjoy the carnival rides, hands-on art, bungee trampolines and so many other activities available for young and old. In addition to the already fun events, enjoy pony rides for the little ones, rock climbing, slack lining, along with live entertainment from jugglers, clowns, acrobatics, hip hop dancers.

Test your agility and balance by trying out the professional ropes course and zip lining experiences at the park. Adults are also invited to try their hand at artwork, guided by local artists. Food and drinks available for purchase until Greenwood Village Day ends at 9:30 p.m. Free water and snow cones throughout the event.

If that wasn’t enough to make it an interesting day, a live concert by “Off the Record” begins at 8:15 p.m. with fireworks scheduled directly after the music.

In the event of rain on Saturday night the concert and fireworks will be held Sunday, July 27. Gate opens at 7 p.m. Tickets and parking passes are available at City Hall beginning July 7 to the 24, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekdays. For additional information call 303-486-5766.
