Dunkin Donuts Set to Open By November in The Village
The wait is finally over for Greenwood Village residents; Dunkin Donuts is coming to the city this fall. Doughnut lovers are already awaiting its arrival sometime in late October. This is their 10th store to open in the Denver metro area, and with the positive response there might be more.
According to The Denver Post, the new store is slated to open at 9595 E. Arapahoe Road by November, according to Doug Rodman, the franchisee who manages the store and one other in Aurora, with his daughter Katy Redman. “We’re ready to go as soon as the city finishes the approval process,” Doug said in the article.
All 2,272 square feet of the store will be enjoyment for every sweet tooth in town. Having been in business for a few decades, this multi-billion dollar company knows a thing or two about a good doughnut. Research and testing these delicious round pastries is the goal of this business, and they have it down, literally, to a science.
Recently, according to the article, architect G3 Architecture applied for a 12-foot extension to the store for storage and an entry feature. Now, builders and owners wait for the project to approach the Greenwood Village Planning and Zoning Commission. A date for a hearing has not yet been set, but Redman said he believed they will start breaking ground very soon.
