Cherry Creek School District Honors Volunteers

The Cherry Creek School District, which is based in Greenwood Village, recently honored a group of volunteers who help support students and the schools.

According the school district, 62 volunteers were honored during the Cherry Creek School District’s 2018 Exceptional Volunteer Event held April 12.

The 2018 Exceptional Volunteers include parents and grandparents, business professionals and retirees, who spend their free time volunteering in classrooms or on committees, or help organize events at the schools, the report said.

Those honored were nominated by every elementary, middle and high school in the district, the report said.
