CCHS is Ranked Amongst the Top Music Programs in the Country

Ranked one of the best music programs in the country, Cherry Creek High School‘s (CCHS) ¬†Union Street Jazz Choir holds nothing back when it comes to impressing a crowd. The seats were filled at the high school auditorium, not one was left empty. Meistersingers are also another competitive choir group that performed at the Greenwood Village Winter Choir Concert.

 

Sadie Flora, a busy senior, joined the choir group a few years ago. She told the Denver Post how she felt about her life and music,¬†“Choir and music have always been things that I grew up with,” Flora, 17, said. “I’ve been singing my whole life and it’s always been a part of who I am.” Flora has found herself completely devoted to her love of singing. Now, she is the co-president of the Meistersingers.

 

Nominated with 122 other high school across the nation, CCHS is a Grammy Signature School semifinalist for 2014. Two other schools in Colorado were also recognized for this grand achievement.
