Money Magazine Ranks Greenwood as a ‘Best Place to Live’
Greenwood is one of the nation’s best places to live. According to Money Magazine, Greenwood checks in as the 22nd on the publication’s Best Places to Live 2017 list.
Greenwood ranks highly thanks to its diverse business community, historic downtown, and access to big-city amenities. In addition, according to the list, Greenwood also houses several companies that are major employers for the area—one reason the town’s unemployment rate is low and job prospects are on the rise.
In compiling the list, Money Magazine looks at 170,000 data points for about 2,400 places in the country, the report’s methodology said, and rewards cities and towns the publication says offers economic opportunity, a sense of community, and access to amenities that make life more enjoyable.
