Help Restore Old Town Greenwood Together; Along with a Scavenger Hunt!

Attention Greenwood residents: Let’s get together April 26th to cleanup Old Town Greenwood. This community gathering works to restore the town into its natural state of cleanliness – celebrate Earth Day this year!

Volunteers are asked to meet in the parking lot located at Madison Avenue and Main Street, starting at 1 p.m. There will be rewards and fun activities to follow! Until 4 p.m., locals will be traveling through the Old Town picking up trash and debris leftover from the long winter. To make things interesting, a scavenger hunt for families is planned throughout the day.

In addition, the Greenwood Fire Department is hosting a safety education program including free document shredding services; and a blood drive. It’s going to be a beautiful day to help the environment, while spending some time with your fellow neighbors!
