Greenwood’s New Freedom Springs Waterpark a Major Hit

Greenwood’s new Freedom Springs Aquatics Park has proven to be a major hit. According to the Daily Journal, concessions are selling out, the line is stretching to the parking lot before gates open and deck chairs and inner tubes have been really hard to come by.

The waterpark is averaging 1,400 customers a day, which is 100 below its maximum capacity, and has added a third register and has 100 more deck chairs on order to keep up with demand, the newspaper said.

The park features three different pools, water slides and space for special events and parties. Day pass admission is $8 for adults, and $6 for children and seniors who are Greenwood residents. For non-residents, admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. Season passes are available for $65 per person for residents, and $85 for non-residents.
