Greenwood’s Freedom Festival Set for June 25

Greenwood’s annual Freedom Festival will return for another year on Saturday, June 25, 2016.

The event will feature a street fair with more than 170 booths offering local beer, wine, food, wine, beer and fun, as well as a parade, live bands and fireworks. The live music will start at 3 p.m. with the Shelby County Sinners and will continue with a handful of other bands such as Meadow Ryann and the Woomblies.

Festivities will be held at 100 Surina Way, in Craig Park and near the Community Center and Police Department are located. For the latest information, check out the festival’s Facebook page.
