Greenwood’s Appreciation in the Park is July 30

Greenwood’s Appreciation in the Park event is set for 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at Craig Park, 10 E. Smith Valley Rd.

The free, family-friendly event is meant to pay tribute to local first responders including firefighters, police and EMTs. A free dinner will be provided for Greenwood first responders by Community South Hospital. For event-goers, a number of local restaurants will be selling some of their delicious menu items. Some of the restaurants include Brozinni Pizzeria, Mrs. Curl’s, Firehouse Subs, Texas Roadhouse and Happy Jack Hot Dogs.

There will also be free musical entertainment by Scott Strange and other local acts, face painting, local vendors, and hot air balloon rides for $10 each.
