Greenwood Woman Gets Second Consecutive EWGA Championship Finals Win
Greenwood resident Katie Brinker was recently crowned the champion of the 2015 Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) Championship.
According to WorldGolf.com, the 30-year-old took the championship medal for the second consecutive year. She shot a pair of 73s for a total of 146 at the Pete Dye Course at the Westin Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage, CA.
The EWGA Championship is one of the largest women’s amateur golf competitions in the nation for all skill levels. A total of 223 members participated in this year’s championship finals, the website said.
