Greenwood Streets Repaving Projects Underway
Although there may be slower traffic and a lot of construction during the end of summer and into fall, it will be well worth the wait while selected streets in Greenwood are repaved.
According to the Daily Journal, workers are grinding down existing sections of the streets and then resurfacing them. Roads won’t be closing, but workers with flags will direct motorists around the sections getting repaired, city community development services director Mark Richards said.
The road project started just a few weeks ago, but is slated to be finish by mid-fall. The work is beginning on Stones Crossing, Demaree and Curry Roads.
