Greenwood Opens Its Second Organic Grocery Store
“Ever since we opened up those stores, we found a need for Greenwood to have a store like this, ” said Amanda Arnet, a marketing coordinator for Earth Fare, in the IndyStar article. “Our customers have been asking for it.”
Earth Fare is hosting its ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:45 a.m. this coming Wednesday at 2110 E. County Line Road. Located right across the street from Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, which opened its doors last month, they are going to have some competition. They are both known for organic products available at large amounts for a good price. Eventually, customers will choose which one they like most and maybe both will survive.
“People are more conscientious about what they are putting on their forks and in their mouths,” said Christian Maslowski, the Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce‘s chief executive officer, in the article. “This is a national trend. Here in Greenwood we’re seeing the benefit of that.”
Earth Fare guarantees that every food item it sells along with the Greenwood Cafe that offers smoothies and sandwiches for a quick lunch are organic and hormone-free,
