Greenwood Community High School’s Marching Band Places 1st at Local Competition

Greenwood Community High School’s marching band earned first place at a local competition.

According to the Daily Journal, The Marching Woodmen and Irish Guard, Greenwood Community High School’s marching band, earned first place in Class B and the second highest overall score of the day. The competition was held last week at Lafayette Jefferson High School.

They also earned caption awards for best music, visual, general effect, percussion, color guard, drum major and pit crew, according to the article.
