Greenwood-a-Glow Set for Nov. 22

The City of Greenwood is inviting the community to participate in the annual Greenwood-a-Glow event to kick off the holiday season.

A variety of activities including crafts, shows, food, visits with Santa, and of course a tree lighting ceremony will be taking place at the Greenwood Public Library and Greenwood City Center.

The event is sponsored by Old Town Greenwood, and this is the schedule of events:

  • Tree Lighting Ceremony from 5-5:45 p.m.
  • Greenwood City Center Open House from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Holiday Puppet Show at 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
  • Coloring Room and Craft Time from 3-7 p.m.
  • Food and Drinks from 3-7 p.m.
  • Carriage Rides from 4-7 p.m.
  • Pictures with Santa from 3-5:20 p.m. and 6-7 p.m.
