Giordano’s, Greek’s to Open Pizzeria Locations in Greenwood Area
Following the openings of Rise’n Roll Bakery and Newk’s Eatery, the Greenwood area may add two more delicious restaurants to its local menu.
According to the IndyStar, Giordano’s, a beloved Chicago-based chain, and Greek’s Pizzeria and Tapp Room are reportedly planning south side locations.
Giordano’s is said to be looking at the former site of Max and Emma’s on U.S. 31 and East Stop Road, while Greek’s is reportedly eyeing up the old Beefcake Burger spot at 1642 Olive Branch Parke Lane in Greenwood proper.
Giordano’s is famous for its Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. Greek’s on the other hand is actually owned by a local. Jason Tapp graduated from Greenwood High School. According to the restaurant’s website, after spending more than 15 years in corporate America, he followed his passion to launch his pizza business.
