Center Grove Ranks in Top 20 for Indiana High Schools

Greenwood’s Center Grove High School is one of the best schools in the state. U.S. News & World Report recently released its 2015 Best High Schools lists and ranked Center Grove at No. 19 in Indiana.

This is how the school was described:

“Center Grove High School is ranked 19th within Indiana. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at Center Grove High School is 46 percent. The student body makeup is 52 percent male and 48 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 8 percent. Center Grove High School is the only high school in the Center Grove Com Sch Corp.”

Data on more than 21,000 public high schools was evaluated, and U.S. News ranked them based on their performance on state assessment tests and how well students are prepared for college.

Signature School in Evansville took the top spot for the state, followed by Herron High School in Indianapolis and Zionsville Community High School in Zionsville at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
