Benefit Greenwood Families in Need at the Chili Cook-Off

Ahh yes – the spicy, familiar smell fills the air when someone is cooking chili. What better way to spend your evening than at a Chili Cook-Off, especially one that benefits Greenwood families in need this holiday. Start looking for your grandmother’s famous recipe now, because you have about a month to compete.

Sharpen those knifes, and get to planning, this event is sure to bring in a huge crowd of locals! They are coming hungry, not only the array of chili in front of their noses, but to help out families during these cold winter months. Nothing like a healthy competition to warm the bellies up. Whether you are a meat lover or a bean enthusiast, every cook is invited to partake!

The Cook-Off will be at the SS. Francis and Clare school from 6:30 to 10 p.m., January 25th. The school is located at 5901 Olive Branch Road, Greenwood. Spread the news – this is sure to be a fun, exciting activity for everyone!
