WalletHub Ranks Denver As Top Recreation Spot in U.S.

Denver is one of the best cities for recreation in the United States, according to a recent study by WalletHub.

According to the article, the financial company review site ranked Denver No. 10 on it’s list of 2015’s Best Cities for Recreation.

In honor of National Parks and Recreation Month in July, WalletHub took 100 of the largest U.S. cities and compared them across 27 different key metrics such as basic costs, climate, quality of parks, accessibility and on-site facilities. Consideration went beyond park facilities and exercise, and also took things like museums and food festivals into account, too.

Cincinnati, OH took the No. 1 spot, followed by Omaha, NE and Scottsdale, AZ at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
