Restaurateur Richard Sandoval Launches Second Cookbook

If you’re looking to spice up your holiday menu, then one of Denver’s most well-known chefs Richard Sandoval can help.

According to the Denver Business Journal, Richard Sandoval, who is the owner of restaurants such as Tamayo, Zengo and La Biblioteca, recently released his second cookbook, “Richard Sandoval’s New Latin Flavors: Hot Dishes, Cool Drinks.”

Sandoval grew up in Mexico City, and learned about cooking from his grandmother and about the restaurant industry from his father, who owned spots in Acapulco, according to Denver Westword Blog.

“I thought it was important to go retro—the foods I grew up with,” Sandoval reportedly said.

With a wide range of recipes, the cookbook features everything from Asian fusion dishes to South American entrées.
