New Office Space to ‘Debut’ on Denver’s 16th Street Mall

Soon the Walgreens on 16th and Stout will finish its expansion into the former Dress Barn space, and not only will the community have a bigger drug store, it will also be reintroduced to a huge office space.

According to the Denver Post, the owners of the building will now be opening the second floor, which boasts 18,000 square feet, 18-foot ceilings and a rooftop deck.

“There’s nothing like this around here. It’s truly unique,” Tom Lee, executive managing director of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, who will market the space with broker Jon Tilton, told the Post. “If you look up and down the mall, there are really no significant office vacancies.”

The space formerly housed the American National Bank, which closed around 1990.
