Dunking for Eggs? Buchanan Park Requires Swim Gear for Their Easter Hunt

A different take on an Easter egg hunt is being done at Buchanan Park, south of Denver. This annual event is being held in a pool! Grab your swimsuits and your goggles to make sure you can find those hidden eggs. Don’t worry – the Easter Bunny will be there to cheer you on the whole time!

Dunking for eggs is the concept, and the prizes are treats galore! Starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 18th, kids from all over Denver will be lining up to participate in this very unique way of hunting for the plastic, pastel delights. Remember to get your picture with the Easter bunny BEFORE you get soaking wet, unless you prefer to capture this special moment in your swim gear!

The event is free to the public. Times are as follows: 5:30 – 5:45 pm — Ages 1 to 3, 5:45 to 6 p.m. – Ages 4 to 6-years-old, and 6 – 6:15 p.m. – Ages 7 and over.
