Drizly Announces South Denver Expansion for Beer Delivery

After launching in July, Drizly, a smartphone app that delivers alcohol, is now expanding its service area to south Denver.

According to the Denver Post, Drizly had been making deliveries from Argonaut Wine and Liquor since its launch this summer, and recently added a new retailer, Bonnie Brae Wine and Liquor.

The south Denver neighborhoods that will now get service are: University Park, University Hills, University of Denver, Platt Park, Rosendale, South Pearl, Wellshire, Cherry Hills Village, Hampden/South Hampden, Hilltop and Glendale.

Drizly doesn’t charge a markup on the booze, just a $5 delivery fee, which is paid to the retailer. The company makes its money by charging the retailer a monthly fee.
