The Mile High City is gearing up for yet another year of holiday fun as the 40th annual 9News Parade of Lights is set for Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6.
According to the Denver Business Journal, the long standing tradition will be held twice, once at 8 p.m. Friday, and again at 6 p.m. Saturday.
“We are gearing up for another dazzling event with our tried-and-true traditions, along with exciting new floats and participants that the Denver community won’t want to miss,” Downtown Denver Partnership executive vice president Susan Rogers-Kark told the journal.
Among this year’s parade items, there will be four giant balloons, 11 glowing floats, seven marching bands, horse-drawn carriages and more.
