Denver’s Parade of Lights Set for This Weekend

The Mile High City is gearing up for yet another year of holiday fun as the 40th annual 9News Parade of Lights is set for Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6.

 

According to the Denver Business Journal, the long standing tradition will be held twice, once at 8 p.m. Friday, and again at 6 p.m. Saturday.

 

“We are gearing up for another dazzling event with our tried-and-true traditions, along with exciting new floats and participants that the Denver community won’t want to miss,” Downtown Denver Partnership executive vice president Susan Rogers-Kark told the journal.

 

Among this year’s parade items, there will be four giant balloons, 11 glowing floats, seven marching bands, horse-drawn carriages and more.
