Scottsdale Becoming a Highly Desired City In Which to Live
Downtown Scottsdale is growing fast for residential living; more people want to call this wonderful Arizona city home. 2014 is the year of completion for a number of multifamily and single home developments, for any type of living situation. Scottsdale is filled with cranes and construction, and they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
There is a 259-unit high-end apartment complex attached to an 8,000 square foot restaurant space along Marshall Way. Among other buildings, the Waterfront will have a 65 unit residential space done by May, including 17 two-story penthouses. According to AZCentral.com, the project manager and chairman of the city’s Planning Commission are excited for the new construction, “The demographics in this area are either young professionals or relocating people who are downsizing,” said Mike D’Andrea. “And the walkability of the area, the shopping and the mall are really bringing people back here to this area to live. They want to be where the action is.”
