Same Owner and Delicious Sandwiches – Abe’s is Now Miller’s Deli & Grill
As one door closes, another one opens for Abe’s of Scottsdale Deli! The legendary piled-high pastrami sandwiches will still be available – just the deli case offerings are going to be gone. Downsizing his store seems to be the most logical thing to do at this point. Miller’s Deli & Grill is the new place to go with the same fixings as before!
Owner Larry Abel is certain that his new venture, located in the Hayden Peak Crossing Shopping Center, is going to do well. The massive menu has also been trimmed, so they can focus on a few of their delicious selections. Still offered are the “secret recipe” pickled corned beef and pastrami sandwiches; matzo-ball or sweet and sour cabbage soup; monster-size salads; potato knish smothered in gravy; and a local favorite, the New York-style bagels with lox and a schmear.
No worries – the deli is still around! Go check out the new location at Thompson Peak Parkway in Scottsdale to find out for yourself. Also intact is the familiar cityscape mural decor; a bar and lounge area with bottle and draft beers, wines by the glass or bottle; and cocktails, plus the buzz of nine large-screen televisions.
