Check Out the New and Old Downtown Scottsdale for Locals to Enjoy

As the Midwest regions are growing colder, visitors and residents of Scottsdale are here to enjoy the warm weather. There are so many attractions that even locals don’t know about, but we know where to go to find the coolest places near downtown. From unique, fun bike shops to a restaurant called the Pink Pony, there is something for everyone in Scottsdale!

As downtown continues to grow, so does the dining and shopping scene. They are making changes to make it more of a destination for locals, with more localized shops and boutiques. It is a very walkable area, so it is easy to take in the whole experience by hitting the streets of Scottsdale. Some of the new and old businesses are tucked away; here are two of our favorites!

The Bicycle Haus is a specialty bike shop that has been in downtown for nearly a decade, it has doubled the size of its business in its new building on First Avenue west of Scottsdale Road. Starting out as a general bike store, it has developed into a niche market with specialty brands for all ages!

The Pink Pony restaurant at 3831 N. Scottsdale Road is undergoing a face lift, with an outdoor patio added to the front as well. This famous steakhouse now relocated conveniently downtown will be available for tourists and locals alike!
