Topgolf Plans New Facility Offering High Tech Golf Challenges
Combining competition and entertainment, Topgolf is planning on opening its first Colorado outlet in Centennial! Golfers be ready to experience a different way to utilize your golf skills – this place is one of the country’s fastest growing businesses! Not only will the company boost the economy tremendously, but is going to create 400 local jobs.
After city council visits the proposal to build the three-story building, the development site will be located on the northeast corner of Havana and Easter. The new location is going to be modeled after the Houston and Austin, Texas locations, changing the character of the area – in a good way!
Topgolf stands for Target Oriented Practice Golf and is billed as a “new kind of golf experience that combines competition with entertainment.” Invented by World Golf Systems, a British company, they have seven locations total in the U.S. High-tech balls are used to score a shot’s accuracy and distance. In addition, the new Centennial facility offers climate controlled hitting bays, as well as a crafted food and beverage menu!
