During The Month of February South Suburban Rec Centers Will Be Featuring Local Artists

Goodson Recreation – Lone Tree Recreation – Douglas H. Buck Recreation

During the month of February South Suburban Rec Centers will be featuring temporary art exhibits by local artists during the month of February. All  artwork is available for sale to the public.

Featured Exhibit:
Maria Bouziane has an exhibit of oil and acrylic paintings at. Her framed portraits and landscapes capture her subject matter beautifully and with great skill.

Featured Exhibit:
The Paint Box Guild is displaying “Artists of Littleton”. Members of the Guild present an array of fine art for the public’s viewing pleasure. There will be a mixture of media displayed from oil and acrylic to water pastels from various Littleton artists. Come feast your eyes on flowers, landscapes, and people in this diverse display.

Featured Exhibit:
In “Fade to Bloom” the exciting and colorful renditions of spring flowers, exhibited by self-taught watercolor artist, Lynne Furrer. There will also be an artist reception on Monday, February 4th at the Douglas H. Buck Recreation Center from 11am-1pm which is free and open to the public.

 

Are you an artist? The South Suburban’s Public Art Committee encourages local artists to submit an application to temporarily display their artwork at various South Suburban recreation facilities.
