Centennial Teens Shovel Neighbors’ Driveways to ‘Pay it Forward’
Anticipating a morning of shoveling, residents on South Olive Way in Centennial woke up a couple weeks ago to find the work had already been done.
According to USA Today, six area teenagers wanted to “pay it forward” and got up early that morning and shoveled for their neighbors.
“We wanted to get out before anyone woke up,” Nick Mirabella, one of the teens, said in an interview. “We just felt it was a really good idea to serve the whole neighborhood.”
They refused to take any money, but were definitely open to donations of hot chocolate, the newspaper said.
