Centennial Ranks Well for First-Time Buyers

The top 10 cities in the United States for first-time home buyers, according to a WalletHub analysis, include Denver’s popular suburb Centennial.

Centennial ranked well on a variety of factors including median house prices, real estate taxes, median home price appreciation and price-to-rent ratio. WalletHub said in a recent news release that they compared 17 metrics of the 300 largest U.S. cities.

Combining the affordability of homes and the conditions of the real estate market, according to a Thornton-Sentinel article, they came up with a list of the best cities for first-time home buyers.

The Top 10 include:

1. Broken Arrow, Okla.

2. Allen, Tex.

3. Norman, Okla.

4. Denton, Tex.

5. Frisco, Tex.

6. Plano, Tex.

7. McKinney, Tex.

8. Centennial

9. Thornton

10. Richardson, Tex.
